At TÝR Markets you only pay commission on cryptocurrency trading up to the equivalent of NOK 100,000. There are no hidden costs, and zero spread (ZERO Spread) on all cryptocurrency trades up to NOK 100,000. You only pay 0.35% commission on your trading order per trade, and down to 0.10% commission for larger/active traders (separate terms and conditions apply for reduced commission rate). You will always be informed of any spread on your order in the trading window before you click "Buy now" or "Sell now".
When you trade at TÝR Markets, you will always trade at the best price in the market at any given time – i.e. mid-price between bid and ask (see under "What is spread?" for bid, ask and mid-price). Our algorithms automatically search the international market for the best price on your order. You never need to worry about low liquidity, market impact or large spreads in the market. Regardless of how large or small your order is, you will get quoted global liquidity at the market's best rates. The currency exchange (which is not visible to you as a customer, but which must be done to trade cryptocurrency in NOK) will immediately be executed at interbank rates.
Spread in finance and digital currency trading refers to the difference between the bid price and the ask price. Simply explained, with Bitcoin (BTC) as an example:

No, the only thing you pay to TÝR Markets is commission. This gives you as a customer a simple, predictable and efficient trading experience. If there is spread on your order, this will only exceptionally apply to orders under NOK 100,000, and will always be shown under "Preview buy"/"Preview sell" when you place a desired order, before you confirm the order.
We have a minimum trading amount of NOK 50. The reason is that the international exchanges we hedge our digital currencies against also operate with a minimum amount at approximately the same level.
Go to the "Buy/Sell" page and choose the amount you want to trade for (minimum NOK 50). You will then get a preview of your desired order, before you must click "Buy now" / "Sell now" to complete the purchase/sale. To change from "buy" to "sell" you must click the arrow in the middle of the trading window, to "flip" the desired transaction. The preview lasts for 60 seconds, and ends if you don't complete the order before time runs out. Note that the trading rate of the digital currency you want to place an order in will change continuously while the preview is kept open, until you confirm the order by clicking "Buy now/Sell now"). If you don't complete the purchase/sale, you must place the order again with the desired amount. You can also complete the same process on the "Portfolio" page and on the "Market" page.
Currently, you cannot place limit orders, but this is something that will be offered shortly. A limit order is an order you place to buy or sell your cryptocurrency at a specific price or better. The trade is only executed if the market price reaches this price or better.
We don't offer stop loss orders yet, but will offer it shortly. A stop loss order can then be placed to automatically sell all or part of your holdings in a specified cryptocurrency when the price reaches a certain level, to limit losses.
We don't offer take profit orders yet, but will offer it shortly. A take profit order can then be placed to automatically sell all or part of your holdings in a specified cryptocurrency when the price reaches a certain level, to secure profits.
By having access to liquidity from the global crypto market, you are always assured the real market price at all times, not a price on a local, Norwegian exchange that only quotes prices offered between customers of the same exchange. By fetching prices from the entire market, you can be confident that you are trading at the right price. If you want to trade larger volumes, it also becomes easier to execute the trade at the best possible rate, and not least at the right time (timeframe for transaction execution).
